Nikki from Co2BL

I love to read and I try to write witty and spunky reviews with my partner in crime ~ my other half of the '2' in Co2BL :) If I don't have my kindle or a book in my hands, it's most likely filled with my camera :)
Wait for You - Jennifer L. Armentrout, J. Lynn This book was fabulous! I loved it from the first page to the last. The author did such a great job telling Avery's story that I felt like I was living it with her. And Cam... Oh Cam... He had me doing this the WHOLE TIME! image
He was amazing! So hilarious and confident, or cocky, whichever you want to describe him, he was perfect! I mean really... Who wouldn't love a hunky, sweet, hilarious guy who named his pet turtle after the TMNT?!! :-) Avery was a survivor. I had my suspicions from the blurb as to her big 'secret' and other than a few (horrific, imo) details, I wasn't surprised when she told Cam what had happened to her. It was awful and I found myself tearing up. No one should have to endure that. His reaction was priceless.

"Please talk to me, because I’m seconds away from booking a flight to Texas and killing a mother fucker.”

There were so many times I wanted her to just tell him and I got frustrated when she didn't, but I understand why she couldn't. Not yet anyway. She had the most craptastic parents and terrible friends and she didn't know how to rely on anyone but herself, and was so used to living in silence that when the time came to break it, she wasn't sure how. I loved her. I loved watching her transformation from a nervous wreck who plowed into Cam in the beginning, to a strong willed woman who enjoyed plowing Cam in the end. I realize that may have been crude, but oh well. It's how I feel! ;) This book was awesome! The supporting characters were the best. Jacob and Brit were my absolute favorites! I loved Cam's family, his roommate Ollie and his friend Jace. I can't wait to see who the next book is about!

*My only bone to pick was the editing. At first I tried to overlook it but by the end there were several instances where I just wasn't sure what word was supposed to be there. That's why I give this 4.5 stars*
